Sounds like a plan!

A man, a plan, a canoe, pasta, heros, rajahs, a coloratura, maps, snipe, percale, macaroni, a gag, a banana bag, a tan, a tag, a banana bag again (or a camel), a crepe, pins, Spam, a rut, a Rolo, cash, a jar, sore hats, a peon, a canal--Panama!

  1. Well, it got your attention!

I look forward to learning more about the technology behind all this. Clearly "entities" are keeping track of what we do, and the more people learn about the extent of it the more they will probably want to have a say in it.

At some point (soon or passed) this will have to be explained so that those unfamiliar with XML, RSS and even cookies will understand it.

My analogy is the little key tag I scan in at the grocery store. Even if I pay in cash, it gives them a key field in which they can update a database regarding my buying habits. In exchange I get a few dollars off (sometimes a significant percentage of the total).

People mostly understand these existing systems and are either indifferent to it or dead set against it. It will be harder to get average users ramped up on the Internet equivalent. A generational thing you know.
