Lot of nonsense in this article even though the author's resume indicates he should know better.
The comments are flakey too: "Amazon doesn't know anything about software."
HUH!? I guess that's why other more established retailers have gone up against them time after time and failed.
Maybe real tech people just don't read ZDNet and all its sister publications any more.
Anyway, if I have to buy a Windows device to read Amazon books it better be so cheap it's at the disposable level. In other words, MS had better be selling it at a loss because to me, Windows contributes "negative value". I'll be constantly concerned that has infected my other equipment in some way. No thanks.
